Nightfall Mysteries: Curse of the Opera review
This game is pretty good. It has some nice graphics and everything is well draw. The sounds is fair. The music is fine and relaxing, but miss variety. Some areas are missing sound's ambience. This is a serial killer story, so, for adult only. It is well presented, with some nice voice overs and good interaction with NPC. Although sometimes in the cut scenes, the text can go too fast. The puzzles are well done and does require some thinking at times. Two of them were bad (One was the inn's clock…). I got a bug involving a sheppard's crook…I tried to place it where it belong but the action didn't trigger. One thing that annoyed me a lot was: when i revisited an HOG scene, I had to pick the same objects I did before…I don't mind redoing a place 2-3 times, but change the objects please!!!! Overall, it is a fun murder mystery but the game could have been better. A bug and a poor design choice of design in the HOG can feed frustration. Not that bad of a game and fairly long, around 3 hours.
