Tornado: The secret of the magic cave Review

Great graphics but simplistic animation, not always smooth. Good music and sounds. No voice overs. The story is minimalist and barely logical. And it felt like the guy was a moron 3/4 of the game, let's call it reverse sexism. But the game put my fate back in men, in the end… The HOG game is find objects to complete another one, in a roulette. Really fun and additive. Overall a great family game but fairly short, maybe 1.5 hours. Try it.

Escape from Frankenstein’s Castle Review

Minimal presentation at first. Good illustration but the style has a tendency to change…The scene are in 2d with some 3d transitions. Great music. Some voice overs but not many. The story is kind of not surprising…More of a succession of finding parts to solve a puzzle, no real HOG. The navigation interface is weird. No indication on objects to pick in a scene, sometimes frustrating. Overall, an average game. Not really bad, not really great either…has it's quirks. Try it if it suits you… I wasn't a fan.

Drawn: Dark Flight CE review

Great graphics and very nice movies all the way around. Great artistic flair in the game, just like the previous game. A couple of voice overs.  Amazing classical soundtrack which place you right in the mood. The story is interesting and imaginative, for all the family. There is no real HOG per say, more a succession of mini games and puzzles, with objects to find into the scenes. At least 5 puzzles were extremely long and complex, which I found a bit too much. Overall a fantastic game worth playing, but short. Last around 1.5 hours…still for the look and everything positive about the game, I recommend it. Be sure to have version 1.1, since there is a bug in version 1.0.

Fair graphics. Excellent music and sounds. The story is hard to believe and is incomprehensible at times. Part of it is just plainly predictable. The clicking can be touchy and unresponsive. Mixing objects doesn't always work perfectly. The puzzle are fine. Overall a fair game that has all kinds of issues. The story isn't well explained or just simply weird. And you have all those little gameplay glitches…Try it before buying.

Barely good graphics. Somewhat blurry and pixelate on LCD. Good mood and music. The story is very intriguing and moody. Rich story telling. Interface is just passable and not very attractive. Overall an original story and fair HOG game, plague with ordinary graphics. To the point where you can loose interest…Still I think it's a game worth trying and playing for the story alone, and the way it is written. The dark theme is for 13+ of age.

Beautiful graphics all the way around. Nice backdrops, illustration and fine presentation. The music is good but sometimes repetitive. No voice overs. The story is interesting and span across each reincarnations. The HOG is fun to play but you really get frustrated by all the complex puzzles. There is too many of them and I was ultimately fed up with skipping. Also the navigation between the scenes is kind of awkward…and there is a lot of backtracking! Overall a good game with overlay complex puzzles. Not for kids. For the patient only…

Great graphics with a nice sens of tension in the presentation. Great sounds and music, partial voice overs (Narrator). The HOG is finding part of objects to advance. Sadly I was stuck at the very beginning, missing a part of an object…with a useless hint system and cumbersome interface. Also the scenes are obstructive when trying to find the parts. So, I found the game frustrating to no end, and I didn't even get to the third scenes yet…which in my book is extremely poor gaming.

Robins Quest A Legend Born

Very nice graphics in form of animated comics in sumptuous backgrounds. Great music and fantastic work on sounds. The story is a twist on the Robin Hood story, which I found interesting. The game is more of a succession of finding objects to resolve puzzles and gain access to areas, with some real HOGs. Kind of a detective style. Which still fit perfectly. Lots of backtracking. Conclusion: a great family game that last a good 2 hours. Should be played, at least for the story and the graphics.

Nice 3d movies, simplistic but efficient. Good graphics all over. Very nice music, no voice overs. The story is great and imaginative. I can't wait for a follow up…The HOG was good, but the puzzles were unequal. Some too hard, but overall challenging. Conclusion: an excellent game that should be played.
